FAQ
Frequently asked questions.
What does Lectotype do?
Lectotype provides a governed inference platform: a deterministic control layer between business systems and AI models that enforces decision rights, risk boundaries, and data provenance.
Is Lectotype an AI model?
No. Lectotype governs how AI models are accessed and used. It is model-agnostic and works as a control point in front of the models an organization chooses.
What is governed inference?
AI inference that runs inside enforced controls: the requester is authorized, sources are approved, deterministic tools handle exact computations, rule artifacts constrain the action, and the full context is recorded for audit and replay.
What is the STANDARD framework?
The eight-pillar methodology every deployment is measured against: Sovereignty, Traceability, Assurance, Native Governance, Deployment Safety, Authoritative, Regional Compliance, and Dependable Governance.
Why does replay matter?
Replay re-runs a past AI action against the same inputs, sources, and rule versions, so a result can be checked rather than assumed.
How much does Lectotype cost?
$200 per seat per month with a 10-seat minimum, plus integration fees, typically $12,000 to $25,000 depending on the size of the business.
Where is Lectotype based?
Salt Lake City, Utah. Lectotype was established in 2026.
Is Prime42.Ai part of Lectotype?
Prime42.Ai is an independent company built on the Lectotype platform. Prime42 is responsible for its water-domain product and customer records; Lectotype provides the underlying governed platform.
